Action to inform

The G.H.Th. G.Papanikolaou – Ps.H.Th. Unit of Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki is organizing , through the Education, Culture, Research & Innovation office and in collaboration with the “Observatory” of the project with the acronymEqual2Health of the co-operation project “INTERREG V –A Greece – Boulgaria 2014-2020”, an action to inform and raise public awareness on mental health issues, as well as medical counseling / support to vulnerable groups of the population for socially important diseases such as psychiatric, neurological and cardiological ones.

The action will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Aristotelous Square (cross with Vas Herakliou Street) as described below:

10:00am-15:00pm: the Mental Health Centers of Central &West & Northwest sector of the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki will provide information about the mental health services in the community.

15:00pm-20:00pm: the observatory staff of the project with the acronymEqual2Health of the co-operation “INTERREG V –A Greece -Boulgaria 2014-2020” will provide medical counseling / support to vulnerable groups of the population for the important diseases like pshychiatric, neurological and cardiological ones.

The action is under the auspices of the Region of Central Macedonia, Municipality of Thessaloniki of the 3rd Health Region of Macedonia, of the 4th Health Region of Macedonia – Thrace and the action venue was provided free of charge by the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
